Living Hope Church began in 2003 on the University of Chicago campus, and quickly became one family in Christ of diverse cultures and colors, from both the campus and the surrounding neighborhood. Each Sunday, 50-90 people gather in the old pool hall that we renovated, at the crossroads of a world-class campus and a very under-resourced neighborhood marked by low-income, high-crime, and gang wars. But we’ve witnessed God’s renewing love transform both doubting skeptics and street-wise teenagers.
