Job Title: Immigrant Legal Assistant
Job Description: Assist immigrants to comply with US immigration laws.

Special Qualifications: Empathy; good listening and writing skills. No legal background required. Volunteer would take 40 hour course, complete at least 40 hours of internship, submit application for accreditation with the assistance of World Relief and MNA Refugee and Immigrant Ministry staff.
Hours per Week: Will vary
Worksite Location (in person, virtual, etc.): A local PCA church or parachurch organization in your area willing to host an immigration clinic.
Expected Length of Need: Immediate and Ongoing

MNA Refugee and Immigrant Ministry exists to encourage and support local churches as they fulfill the Biblical mandate to love and minister to their immigrant neighbors (many from unreached people groups.). Now that 1 of every 7 persons in the U.S. is an immigrant, there is a tremendous unmet need for trustworthy immigration legal services. In the absence of such services, many immigrants fall prey to immigration fraudsters who actually damage their cases. Reliable, authorized church-operated or church-affiliated immigration legal services meet a genuine need, build relationships, and demonstrate God’s love for “the world at our doorsteps” – with potential worldwide ripple effects for the Kingdom.
