Serve the City – Baltimore MD

Serve the City Baltimore 2015

Baltimore is a great city with a great need. Violence, homelessness, and addiction play too large of a role in the narrative of the City. Serve the City’s design is to help individuals engage the great needs of Baltimore City by mobilizing volunteers and plugging them into existing service opportunities (both faith based and non-faith based) throughout the City. Our mission is to arrange connections that bear fruit in ongoing relationships that address the needs of our City.

Our Mission:

Serve the City works to connect great volunteers with great organizations in Baltimore.  We provide our volunteers with the resources and training they need to understand the context of Baltimore and engage meaningfully with the partners we serve.

Our Need for Volunteers:

Serve the City welcomes mission teams from all over throughout the year. Teams will have opportunity to serve in varied project throughout the City.

Cost:

We can facilitate groups of any size but request that they are junior high aged and older. Accommodations are flexible depending on your needs, so the cost is not fixed, though very reasonable. Groups must bring appropriate leadership, including one female leader and one male leader. Teams will be responsible for their own transportation while in the City. Vans are recommended.
